Hübner Giessen was founded in 1934 and their main efforts are creating robust solutions for demanding requirements in the heavy industry. In the early years it was predominantly motors and generators; then fast and reliable encoders that able to withstand extreme operating conditions were developed and add on to the product range. Initially, they produced analog versions and since the 1980s, the increasing new opportunities presented by digital technology have gradually brought changes to the product range. Mechanical and electronic accessories were added as well as engineering and assembly services.
