The rugged absolute encoders

The singleturn encoders are particularly robust; they can be deployed in a wide variety of applications to detect positions and rotational speeds at main drives in steel and rolling mills, in mining operations and in port and crane systems. They are mostly mounted on the unused shaft end via an isolated adapter flange or directly onto the shaft. With their B14 flange they are ideally suitable to attach other devices. To increase safety or facilitate separate signal transmission to the motor controls they can be installed in a redundant configuration with two equal scanning systems and evaluation electronics.
